Kibaki Gives Uhuru, Ruto a Tour of State House

As the Coalition for Reforms and Democracy prepares to lodge a petition to challenge the results of last week's polls, President-elect Uhuru Kenyatta and deputy William Ruto continued with preparations to take over office. Part of this preparation included a visit by the two leaders to state house where they were hosted by outgoing president Mwai Kibaki. And with a view to immediately begin implementing their vision, Kenyatta and Ruto also handed over the Jubilee manifesto to Finance Minister Njeru Githae with the expectation that the government will adopt and begin to implement it. And as Sylvia Chebet reports the president-elect and his team also held meetings with religious leaders and foreign envoys.
